This draft describes how anworks, a Godo Kaisha (合同会社anworks), handles information in the OctScout Chrome extension, on this website, and in the research server that the extension can call. It follows the implementation reviewed on November 2, 2026. Items that are not decided are marked TODO. Publishing this page does not mean that Chrome Web Store review, OAuth app verification, or Google Ads API production access has been granted. この草案は、合同会社anworksがOctScoutのChrome拡張機能、このウェブサイト、および拡張機能が呼び出せる調査サーバーで情報をどのように扱うかを説明します。2026年11月2日時点の実装を確認して書いています。決まっていない事項は「TODO」と記載しています。このページを公開しても、Chromeウェブストアの審査、OAuthアプリの確認、Google Ads APIの本番アクセスが承認されたことにはなりません。
What the service doesサービスの内容
OctScout is a research tool for Amazon.co.jp listings. On an Amazon category or search page, it reads listing and product fields, lets the user save ASINs, and can ask a local research server for brand estimates and Google search-demand figures. It does not create an OctScout account, and the extension does not ask the end user to sign in with Google. OctScoutは、Amazon.co.jpの出品を調べるツールです。Amazonのカテゴリーページまたは検索ページで、出品と商品の項目を読み、利用者がASINを保存できるようにし、ローカルの調査サーバーへメーカー推定とGoogle検索需要を問い合わせることができます。OctScoutのアカウントは作成しません。拡張機能は、エンドユーザーにGoogleへのログインを求めていません。

Information the current product handles現在の実装が扱う情報
OctScout does not create an account. The extension stores research data in Chrome’s local storage on the device. The website stores only the selected language in localStorage under the key octscout-lp-locale. OctScoutはアカウントを作成しません。拡張機能は、調査に使うデータを端末の Chrome ローカルストレージへ保存します。公式サイトが保存するのは、選択した言語だけで、localStorage のキーは octscout-lp-locale です。
The extension can store the following in chrome.storage.local:拡張機能が chrome.storage.local に保存し得るものは、次のとおりです。
- Saved ASINs: ASIN, title, brand, product URL, and the time saved. The store keeps up to 100 ASINs.保存したASIN。ASIN、商品名、ブランド、商品URL、保存日時。上限は100件です。
- Display language, and the countries selected for demand research.表示言語と、需要調査の対象として選んだ国。

- Whether the on-page display is turned on.ページ上の表示をオンにしているか。
The contact form collects an optional name, an email address, and a message. The server checks those fields and a Cloudflare Turnstile token. It does not store the message. If the checks pass, Cloudflare Email Routing sends one plain-text email from [email protected] to [email protected]. The Reply-To header is the address entered in the form. The sender address is not the visitor’s address. The website does not keep a copy after that send attempt. The mailbox for [email protected] keeps the message under that mailbox’s own settings. The feedback form on the home page collects a required topic (feature request, improvement, bug report, or other), a required message, and an optional email address. It does not collect a name. The same checks, Turnstile token, rate limit, and delivery path apply. If an email address is entered, it is the Reply-To header. If it is left blank, the message is still sent to [email protected] and the Reply-To header is omitted, so the operator cannot reply. Feedback is not published on this website. トップページのフィードバックフォームでは、必須の種別（機能の要望、改善提案、不具合報告、その他）、必須のメッセージ、任意のメールアドレスを受け取ります。名前は受け取りません。確認、Turnstile のトークン、送信回数の制限、送信経路はお問い合わせと同じです。メールアドレスが入力された場合、それが Reply-To になります。空欄の場合も [email protected] へ送りますが、Reply-To は付けないため、運営者から返信できません。フィードバックはこのウェブサイトでは公開しません。
The current extension and website code does not ask the end user for a legal name, postal address, phone number, payment card, Amazon account password, or Google account. It does not read listing price, star rating, or review text. The content script runs only on https://www.amazon.co.jp/*, so it does not read other sites the user visits. There is no OctScout account and no analytics tag on this website. That describes this build. It is not a promise that a later billing, analytics, or contact-delivery setup will work the same way. 現在の拡張機能と公式サイトのコードは、エンドユーザーに氏名、住所、電話番号、支払いカード、Amazonアカウントのパスワード、Googleアカウントを求めていません。出品価格、星評価、レビュー本文は読んでいません。コンテンツスクリプトは https://www.amazon.co.jp/* だけで動くため、利用者が見る他のサイトは読みません。OctScoutのアカウントはなく、このウェブサイトにアクセス解析タグもありません。これはこのビルドについての説明であり、後から課金、解析、問い合わせ送信を足したあとも同じ、という約束ではありません。
The extension does not show a separate consent screen before it reads the Amazon page the user has opened. A store listing may still need its own prominent disclosure. That in-product notice is not in this build. 拡張機能は、利用者が開いたAmazonページを読む前に、別の同意画面を出していません。ストアの掲載ページでは、別に目立つ説明が必要になる場合があります。その画面内の通知は、このビルドにはありません。
Why the information is used利用目的
- To organize products and brands in an Amazon category and show search demand.Amazonカテゴリーの商品とメーカーを整理し、検索需要を表示するため。
- To keep ASINs the user saves and let the user copy them.利用者が保存したASINを端末内に保持し、コピーできるようにするため。
- To keep the selected language.選択した言語を維持するため。
- To read a contact or feedback message and, when an email address was entered, reply to that address.お問い合わせまたはフィードバックを読み、メールアドレスが入力されている場合にそのアドレスへ返信するため。
- To record counts and results needed to diagnose failures. The demand log writes country, language, keyword count, and result. It does not write the keyword text. Brand and model logs write counts and results, not product titles.不具合の切り分けに必要な件数と結果を記録するため。需要のログに出るのは国、言語、キーワード件数、結果です。キーワード文字列は出していません。ブランド推定と型番抽出のログも、件数と結果であり、商品名は出していません。
Chrome extension permissionsChrome拡張機能の権限
The manifest declares the storage permission only. Host access is limited to https://www.amazon.co.jp/* and http://127.0.0.1:8765/*. The content script runs on https://www.amazon.co.jp/*. The manifest does not declare identity, cookies, tabs, or history. manifest が宣言している権限は storage のみです。ホストへのアクセスは https://www.amazon.co.jp/* と http://127.0.0.1:8765/* に限られます。コンテンツスクリプトは https://www.amazon.co.jp/* で動きます。identity、cookies、tabs、history は宣言していません。
When the extension loads another Amazon search page, it requests that page with credentials included. The browser then sends the user’s existing Amazon cookies to Amazon. This code does not copy those cookies into OctScout storage. The extension console records the page number, HTTP status, and HTML size in bytes. Where information is sent情報の送信先
The extension does not call Keyword Tool, OpenAI, or the Google Ads API itself. Research requests go to a server on the same computer at http://127.0.0.1:8765. The extension POSTs keywords, country, and language to /v1/google/demand; ASIN and title to /v1/brands/estimate; ASIN, title, and brand to /v1/models/extract; and product attributes read from the page, such as ASIN, title, brand, manufacturer, part number, JAN, EAN, UPC, and GTIN, to /v1/model-keywords/organize. The server’s default demand provider is Keyword Tool, and the reviewed configuration selects Keyword Tool. When KEYWORDTOOL_API_KEY is set, the server sends the keywords, a Google location id, a language, and the network name googlesearch to https://api.keywordtool.io/v2/search/volume/google. The API key stays on the server. If the key is missing, that request is not sent. These figures are Google web-search volumes for the keyword, not Amazon search volumes. サーバーの初期の需要取得先は Keyword Tool で、確認した設定も Keyword Tool です。KEYWORDTOOL_API_KEY があるとき、サーバーはキーワード、Googleの地域ID、言語、ネットワーク名 googlesearch を https://api.keywordtool.io/v2/search/volume/google へ送ります。APIキーはサーバーに残します。キーがない場合、そのリクエストは送りません。この数値は、そのキーワードの Google ウェブ検索のボリュームであり、Amazon内の検索数ではありません。
Model extraction, keyword organization, and brand estimation send the product fields above to OpenAI at https://api.openai.com/ only when the server has OPENAI_API_KEY. Without that key, those calls do not run. The key is not placed in the extension. 型番抽出、キーワード整理、ブランド推定は、サーバーに OPENAI_API_KEY がある場合に限り、上記の商品項目を OpenAI（https://api.openai.com/）へ送ります。キーがない場合、その呼び出しは実行されません。キーは拡張機能には入れません。
Calls from the server to Keyword Tool, OpenAI, and Google use HTTPS. The extension’s call to 127.0.0.1 stays on the same computer and uses HTTP. This product does not add its own encryption for chrome.storage or localStorage. サーバーから Keyword Tool、OpenAI、Google への通信は HTTPS です。拡張機能から 127.0.0.1 への通信は同じコンピュータ内に留まり、HTTP です。この製品は、chrome.storage や localStorage に独自の暗号化を加えていません。
Google Ads API and OAuth, as implemented now現在の実装における Google Ads API と OAuth
Google Ads API production access is not approved. On October 30, 2026, Google returned CLOUD_PROJECT
The Google Ads code that exists is read-only. If a later approved project enabled it, the research server would send keywords, a Japan geo target, Japanese language, and the network GOOGLE_SEARCH, and would read historical search metrics and keyword ideas. The ideas request sets includeAverageCpc to false. The code does not create campaigns, budgets, ads, or billing changes, and it does not send a developer token. That description is the implemented path. It is not a statement that the path is running in production. 実装されている Google Ads の処理は読み取り専用です。後から承認されたプロジェクトで有効にした場合、調査サーバーはキーワード、日本の地域ターゲット、日本語、ネットワーク GOOGLE_SEARCH を送り、過去の検索指標とキーワード候補を読みます。キーワード候補のリクエストでは includeAverageCpc を false にしています。キャンペーン、予算、広告、請求の変更は作らず、developer token も送りません。これは実装されている経路の説明であり、本番でその経路が動いているという説明ではありません。
OAuth is a desktop consent flow on the operator’s computer. The only scope requested is https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords. After consent, a refresh token can be saved in a local file on that computer. The extension does not contain that file, and this website does not receive it. End users of the extension are not asked to grant that scope. A separate local operator script can also list Google Ads customers accessible to that authorized account and read account metadata such as id, name, manager flag, test-account flag, status, and currency. That script is not part of the extension. OAuth は、運営者のコンピュータ上のデスクトップ同意フローです。要求するスコープは https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords だけです。同意のあと、リフレッシュトークンをそのコンピュータのローカルファイルへ保存できます。拡張機能はそのファイルを含まず、このウェブサイトも受け取りません。拡張機能のエンドユーザーに、このスコープの許可は求めていません。別の運営者向けローカルスクリプトは、その許可を得たアカウントから見える Google Ads 顧客を一覧し、ID、名称、マネージャーかどうか、テストアカウントかどうか、ステータス、通貨などのアカウント情報を読むことができます。そのスクリプトは拡張機能の一部ではありません。
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information received from the Google Ads API is used only to show search-demand figures in OctScout. It is not used to run ads, sell data, or assess credit. This sentence states the limit on use. It does not mean a Google review has been passed. TODO The OAuth consent-screen settings, and which of Keyword Tool, OpenAI, and Google Ads will be enabled on a hosted research server, are not decided. A hosted research server is not running. Cookies and analyticsCookieとアクセス解析
This website does not set an analytics cookie and does not load an analytics script. Language is stored in localStorage. The extension does not declare a cookie-reading permission. As described above, Amazon page requests still let the browser send Amazon cookies to Amazon. このウェブサイトは、解析用Cookieを設定せず、解析スクリプトも読み込みません。言語は localStorage に保存します。拡張機能は Cookie を読み取る権限を宣言していません。上記のとおり、Amazonのページ取得では、ブラウザが Amazon へ Amazon の Cookie を送る状態でリクエストします。

Storage and retention保存と保持期間
Extension data remains in chrome.storage.local until the user clears the extension’s data or removes the extension. The user can delete one saved ASIN from the extension. Saved ASINs are capped at 100, category history at 3, brand-estimate cache entries at 2,000, and model-keyword cache entries at 500. Search-demand entries are not reused after 24 hours; an expired entry can remain stored until it is overwritten or the user clears the data. A category selection used to start analysis expires after 2 minutes. Child-category rows kept in chrome.storage.session last for that browser session. The research server’s default in-memory demand cache expires after 24 hours. That default is not a production database retention period. An OAuth refresh token, if the operator completed desktop consent, remains in the operator’s local file until that file is deleted. Keyword Tool and OpenAI keep what they receive under their own terms. Sharing and processors第三者提供と委託
While the server is using Keyword Tool, keyword fields go to Keyword Tool, and product fields go to OpenAI only when that server has an OpenAI key. They are not sent to the Google Ads API while the production block described above is in place. The current code has no flow that sells this information, uses it to run ads, or uses it for credit decisions. A contact or feedback message that passes the checks is sent through Cloudflare Email Routing to [email protected]. The form also sends the Turnstile token, and the visitor’s IP address when the browser request includes one, to Cloudflare’s Turnstile siteverify service. The site stores neither the token nor the message. It stores a count of contact attempts from the same network for about one hour, without the name, email, or message, and then deletes that count. サーバーが Keyword Tool を使っているあいだ、キーワードは Keyword Tool へ送られ、商品項目は、そのサーバーに OpenAI のキーがある場合に限り OpenAI へ送られます。上記の本番ブロックがあるあいだ、それらは Google Ads API へは送られません。現在のコードに、この情報を販売する処理、広告配信に使う処理、与信に使う処理はありません。確認を通過したお問い合わせとフィードバックは、Cloudflare Email Routing を通じて [email protected] へ送られます。フォームは、Turnstile のトークンと、ブラウザのリクエストに含まれる場合は利用者の IP アドレスを、Cloudflare の Turnstile siteverify へ送ります。このサイトは、トークンもメッセージも保存しません。同じネットワークからの送信回数だけを、名前・メールアドレス・本文を含めずに約1時間保持し、その後消します。

Access and deletion requests開示・削除などの請求
The user can delete one saved ASIN in the extension, clear the extension’s data in Chrome, or remove the extension. The website language can be removed by clearing localStorage for this site. There is no OctScout account-deletion page, because there is no account. Requests about information a production server keeps will be accepted from the contact page after a delivery address exists. Deleting data held by Keyword Tool, OpenAI, or Google is not a function this product implements. 利用者は、拡張機能で保存したASINを1件ずつ削除するか、Chromeで拡張機能のデータを消すか、拡張機能を削除できます。公式サイトの言語設定は、このサイトの localStorage を消すと消せます。アカウントがないため、OctScoutのアカウント削除ページはありません。本番サーバーが保持する情報についての請求は、送信先が決まってからお問い合わせページで受け付けます。Keyword Tool、OpenAI、Google が保持するデータの削除は、この製品が実装している機能ではありません。
